Virgin hair is easier to bleach and dye because it contains no previous color or chemicals from the dye. It’s like working with a blank new surface. To lighten black hair and dye an ash blonde color, you need to make a pre-lightening. Since it’s easy to buy bleaching kits and hair dye kits and it’s quite easy and simple to dye, you can buy the products at a good price and then do it at home. Then you’ll have a new and pretty look at a low cost.

First, you need to bleach your virgin hair. Choose a place of air-free and do an allergy test before using the chemicals. After preparing a set of bleaching kit and old towels, brush your hair with a wide teeth comb to remove the tangles and make it smooth. This can provide a better base to work on. Divide your hair into four equal parts and tie the three sections together with a clip and put it on the other side.

Then you can prepare the chemicals. Read the instructions on the package first and take out the contents of the bleaching kit using the measuring cup. Mix the liquid color with lightening powder and put them into the bottle that contains the developer then shake it well. Don’t forget to take on the gloves to protect your skin. If you have long hair, you could add the number of chemicals. Pick up the one strand of hair left and apply the bleach on it slowly and evenly from root to tip but avoid applying into the scalp in case it will do damage. Do the same thing to the other three strands but only do with one strand each time and wait for half to one hour. During this period, you will feel a little bit weird but it’s normal and you’ll see the hair turning to light color. When the time is up, rinse the hair with warm water till the water runs clear. Squeeze the excess water before applying a deep moisturizing conditioner. About five minutes later, rinse hair again.

Wait your hair till it’s dry by air. During this period of time, you could take out the dye kit and prepare for dyeing. When your hair is dry, separate it into four sections again and mix the chemicals in the dye kit. Also, pick up one strand each time and coat the hair with a mixture of dye liquid and powder. Twist your hair up, let it rest on top of the head, and leave it on for 30 minutes or so. Rinse with warm water again and apply the same conditioner to moisturize and protect your hair. After five minutes, give your hair a completely wash.

We must never lose sight of the fact that hair will get damaged while we’re sleeping. Fortunately, here are 5 ways to help you protect your hair while you sleep.

1. It is recommended to brush hair before going to sleep, minimizing knots and tangles in the morning.

2. Please braid your hair loosely, for this can protect your hair when you are turning and tossing at night.

3. In order to reduce the damage to your hair, you can use a silk or satin pillowcase, for this material is a lot less rough on the hair than regular pillowcases.

4. Avoid using elastic bands, for they can cause hair breakage and put stress on your roots. Conversely, you can use a soft scrunchie to tie your ponytail/bun very lightly at the top of your head.

5. We strongly recommend sleeping with dry hair, for wet hair is very delicate and is much more prone to frizzing and breaking.

It is very important to follow these easy tips for they will ensure that you are keeping your hair as healthy as possible, even while you sleep. If you have any good suggestions on how to protect hair during sleep, please feel free to share it with us.

Whether you have a lot of hair, a little hair or no hair beneath a wig, it can be challenging to keep a wig from slipping while you are wearing it. A wig cap can help immeasurably to keep a wig in place and prevent it from shifting. Not only is a wig cap useful for securing a wig, but it also helps keep your wig clean because it serves as a barrier between your head and the wig.

1. Pin your hair up tightly against your head with bobby pins if you have long hair. You may not need to clip shorter hair up with pins; however, any hair that you can secure against your head will make it easier to put your wig on.

2. Place the wig cap over your pinned hair. Stretch the wig cap over your head, either from the back to the front or from the front to the back. Placing a wig cap over your head is similar to placing a swim cap on your head--both caps are quite tight and you must stretch them over your head. Tuck any existing hair up under the wig cap after you stretch the wig cap over your head.

3. Insert bobby pins through the wig cap and into your hair underneath, if applicable. If you do not have hair beneath the wig cap, skip this step.

4. Place the wig onto your head over the wig cap. Lift the hair of the wig up to show the underside of the wig and insert bobby pins over the mesh under the wig to secure the wig to the wig cap. Insert bobby pins at the front, side and back of the wig to hold the wig securely to the wig cap.
